What is included with a PDF Pattern purchase?
When a PDF Pattern is purchased, you will receive:
- The Large Format (36" width) version of the pattern
- The A0 version of the pattern
- The A4/US Letter compatible version of the pattern
Only a select few patterns contain a paper or PDF written instructions booklet. This will be noted in the product description.
I have paid for my PDF Pattern but have not received a link to download it. Where is it?
PDF Patterns will be readily available via the download button on the purchase confirmation page, right after placing your order. A purchase confirmation email will also be sent which will contain the link to download your patterns.
I have not received an email for my PDF Patterns. Why?
The most common reasons why an email has not been delivered to your inbox are: a spelling error in the email address, the email was sent to the spam folder, or the inbox is full and thus cannot receive new emails. If you cannot find the confirmation email for your purchase, please contact us to inquire.

How do I print and use the A4/US Letter PDF Sewing Patterns?
Our A4/US Letter PDF Patterns can be printed at home on A4 or Letter Size paper. Please set the scale to 100%.
A4/US Letter PDF Patterns contain a margin at the edges of the page that allow it to be compatible with both A4 and US Letter size paper. This means that before combining the pages to create the full pattern, the margins must be folded or cut. Once folded or cut, the bottom edge of the small grey triangles at perimeter of the page should be touching the bottom edge of the triangles from the surrounding pages. Each A4/US Letter PDF Pattern has a dedicated page that contains the print instructions and the layout of the combined pages.
How do I print the Large Format and A0 PDF Sewing Patterns?
Printing our Large Format and A0 PDF Patterns require a large format printer. Please contact your local copy/print shop to inquire about what size printers they have. Please print true to size. The print size is written in the file name and in the notes section of the pattern.
The print shop is asking for copyright permission, what do I do?
If you are trying to print the sewing patterns at a copy and print shop and are refused due to fear of copyright infringement, please refer the printer to the following statement:
The Glory Allan PDF patterns may be printed by any copy and print centre for personal use only. Multiple copies (for personal use) are allowed.
More information available here.
Do the PDF Sewing Patterns contain layers that I can separate for specific sizes?
Our PDF Sewing Patterns are meant to be printed with all sizes present on the page. Any patterns that contain layering are not meant to be separated and then printed, as the layers would be considered incomplete. Glory Allan is not responsible for misprints due to incomplete layering.
I can't find your newsletter subscription form for the free PDF Sewing Patterns. Where can I find it?
The newsletter subscription form can be found at the bottom of our homepage and on our landing page. We recommend turning off any adblockers as they will often prevent the subscription form from appearing.

What kind of paper are the patterns made of?

What is the difference between Poly Cotton Twill and 100% Cotton Twill?
If you're caught between Poly Cotton Twill or 100% Cotton for a DIY Kit, here are some differences:
- 100% Cotton is all natural whereas Poly Cotton is a polyester and cotton mixed fabric
- 100% Cotton is more breathable and gets softer with more use
- Poly Cotton tends to be stiffer, more durable & tear-resistant
- 100% Cotton tends to shrink after washing whereas Poly Cotton holds its shape well

Choosing the Right Fabric: 100% Cotton vs. Poly Cotton
The fabric I received is in a tube. Is this normal?
Tubular fabric is normal but less common. Fabric that is "rolled on a tube" allows for more efficient production, less waste, and creates a seamless fabric.
Sizing
What sizes do the Sewing Patterns include?
Each pattern contains its own full size range. The sizes included are dependent upon the nature of the garment. Some accessories only include one size.
How do I choose my size when purchasing a DIY Kit?
Each DIY Kit contains enough fabric for its full size range.
Each item's sizing chart lists the finished garment dimensions. We recommend measuring your body and using those measurements as a reference for your desired size and fit. Sizes are true to measurement; they are not associated with North American or European sizing standards.

My order was shipped with a different carrier than the one that I had paid for. Why is this?
Due to the constantly changing shipping regulations, some shipping carrier services are not offered in select regions. When this occurs, we choose another carrier to deliver the order. Note: Changing shipping carriers for delivery may occur without notice, however, you can find the updated tracking via the shipping confirmation email.
Why is my order being shipped in two different packages?
New shipping regulations require that US-made and non-US-made items be shipped separately. If this occurs, you will be emailed both of your tracking numbers.
